Welcome to GRS!

The purpose of the GRS is to record and address any issue that may arise during the life cycle of the project period effectively and efficiently. The GRS is designed to address concerns and complaints promptly and transparently with no impacts (cost, discrimination) for any reports made by project affected people (PAPs), workers, stakeholders and the complainants. The GRS works within existing social and resettlement management framework, environmental management framework providing an additional opportunity to resolve grievances at the local, project and BSMSN/EZ level.

Objectives of GRS

  1. To enable the PAPs and other stakeholders to air their grievance
  2. To clarify the nature of the grievance
  3. To investigate the reasons for dissatisfaction
  4. To obtain, where possible, a speedy resolution to the problem
  5. To investigate the reasons for dissatisfaction
  6. To take appropriate actions and ensure that promises are kept
  7. To inform the PAPs and stakeholders of their right to take the grievance to the next stage of the procedure, in the event of an unsuccessful resolution

Procedures to raise the Grievance are described below:

One can lodge the Grievance in two ways--

  1. Anonumously, and
  2. Through User Registration and Login

Here, one can track the Grievance resolution progress through login the system. So everyone is encouraged to lodge the grievance using registration and login method.
