Linkages to other Projects and Institutions

Specific linkages with Perspective Plan/Five Years Plan/SDGs/Ministry/Secctor Priority

The projecct is directly linked with the Vision 2021, Seventh ive Year Plan and Perspective Plan of the Government. Theses documents have solid development targets for Bangladesh along with higher per capita income, higher standard of living, better education and moe equitable soccio-economic environment. The project will immensely assist in achieving the SDGs by eradicating poverty through income generation of the workers, developing global partnership with the international investors and ensuring environmental sustainability.

Linkages:

(i) This project will concrete the way of industrialization to comprehend the national policy documents susch as the Five Year Plans and Perspective Plans (Vision 2021 & 2041) of the Government as mentioned startegic goals: a) tuning Bangladesh into a middle income country, and b) industrial development in Bangladesh towards cometitive world (SG 2 & SG 4 of Vision 2021);

ii) The project has also direct link to the universal Sustainable Development Goals 2030 — build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation (SDG 9); and

iii) The project has the link with MTBF and ADP too. The MTBF budget for BEZA is shown in DPP. Furthermore, the project is listed in ADP 2020-21.
